Lunar Eclipse photo print

Today I added to Etsy, one of my most popular photographic prints, a Lunar Eclipse. See below for more. I am "sluggig away" at adding interesting items to my shop. I heard that it takes a long time to get that first sale, so in the meantime I am working hard. Adding items, networking, marketing, etc. I hope I make my first sale soon. At least along the way I am meeting some nice, helpful, friendly people. :)

Listing Description: Lunar Eclipse 8 x 10 unframed photographic print. Moon. I took this photo from southwest Florida. It is a photo of the May 13th 2003 Lunar Eclipse. I took the photograph by mounting my digital SLR camera onto an "Orion SkyView Pro 8 EQ" telescope using a T-Ring adapter. This image shows the moon glowing rust-red and white against a black sky. You can just see one shining star peeking around the corner. This print is ready for framing, archival quality. It is not framed, not mounted. This is my original photography.

It's Owl Time!

I am finding Etsy a lot of fun! I enjoy posting new listings, doing the jewelry, slecting prints to list, participating in the forums, participating in off-etsy sites for etsy fans. Now, if only some of this would turn into my first sale! :)

The screenshot above shows my newest listing. It's a Burrowing Owl 8 x 10 unframed print. This is a photograph that I took of a Burrowing Owl that lives not too far from me. It is ready for framing, rchival quality, not framed, not mounted. This print shows closeup of a burrowing owl, with a brilliant, crisp, yellow eye, peeking out from between blades of green grass.

Etsy Newbie, still learning

There is so much to learn as an Etsy newbie.  So many tricks and tips, ways to do things.  There are forums to read, FAQs, and more.  But I love learning, so this is all good for me.

Here is one of my favorite pieces; a pink and green skull bracelet.  I made this bracelet using camel bone Tibetan Prayer Bead Skulls, pink beads, light green beads and Hematite beads. It is strung on stretch beading cord with a lobster-claw clasp.

First Things First - set up a shop

Screenshot of my shop:

I've opened my store and am slowly getting items listed.  They say to space out your listings, don't list everything at once, because it helps you get found easier; you always have an item near the top of a search list if you are listing frequently.

Hello World

I have always wanted to do art, crafts and photography for a living.  Follow my story as I take the leap and join ETSY.com and set up my store.
